Hennessey bumps Raptor to 475, 600 or 810 hp: For when Ford’s best, just ain’t enough
Henessey Performance now has three power packages for the already competent Ford F-150 Raptor. They bump output to 475, 600, or 800 hp. The Texas tuner provided video evidence of the pickup’s new brawn the drag strip.
The Raptor comes stock with a 411-hp, 434-lb-ft V8, Fox Racing Shox, dampers and skid plates, a Torsen differential and 4.10:1 gearing.
The 475 upgrade from Hennessey boosts output 64 hp, adds an HPE air induction system, stainless steel long-tube headers and a high-flow catalytic converter. Hennessey changes the engine programming with a handheld programmer — we suppose you could do that yourself — and installs numbered dash and engine plaques. The 475 upgrade costs $6,950 and comes with a one-year, 12,000-mile warranty.
The Velociraptor 600 SC package bumps power to — you guessed it — 600 hp with help from a TVS2300 supercharger system. That’s good enough to drop its 0-60 mph time to 5.2 seconds. The quarter mile goes by in 13.6 seconds at 103 mph. Top speed is limited to 110 mph, due to tire ratings.
To get the extra power, Hennessey adds the supercharger, an air-to-water intercooler, high-flow air induction, new fuel injectors, gaskets and fluids. The package price of $12,950 includes installation, warranty, dyno and chassis tuning. The parts can be mailed out with no installation for $10,950. Hennessey also offers exhaust, headers, and a high-flow cat for an additional cost.
If that’s not enough, you can go for the Velociraptor 800 TT. When you absolutely have to blow the doors off of every car on the streets, accept no substitutes.
The 810-hp pickup comes with forged pistons and connecting rods, two turbochargers, twin intercoolers, stainless steel exhaust, dual 44 millimeter wastegates, dual blowoff valves, boost controller and HPE engine management calibration. Like the rest, it gets a one-year warranty, and comes dyno tuned from the factory for $55,000.
